I loved this place! It's hidden from the main street and there are two additional rooms upstairs. There is also space outside, but I visited in winter so that area was close.
Coffee was a bit burnt and the cheesecake was not exactly a cheesecake but still very good. The staff is very friendly and the internet is ok. Upstairs is weak. Because the rooms are kind of small it tends to get loud if crowded.
A cozy place; I would recommend it and I'm coming back here!

very nice atmosphere (even halloween themed decorations right now) very friendly and chill staff. They also make sure you have a vaccine or test etc. so you feel safer. Definitely recommending it!

Lovely atmosphere, menu, drinks and inner garden. Been there a few times and even though the drinks tend to be good and the food options as well and fairly priced, the service really doesn’t do the place justice.
For some reason, even when asked super nicely for ashtrays/menus/etc., bartenders and staff are often in a bad mood and answer in a rude and unfriendly tone when talked to. I understand how stressy things can get, but expecting a friendly tone when asking for an extra ice cube in a (very watery and mediocre) Spritz or for a seat, etc. shouldn’t be a wild expectation.
Also, the breakfast omelette is hard to chew.
Overall nice place and atmosphere but unfriendly staff that’s more often than not just unhelpful…

Coming now for years to this wonderful gem of a coffee / bar. No matter if I need a spot to work on my laptop, enjoy a cosy afternoon with coffee, cake and friends or have a joyful evening amongst loved ones: GM26 is always the place to be! Thiemo and the crew are amazing - friendly, patient, flexible. I highly recommend the brownies and the coffee. GM26 is always a good idea.

Really disappointed with treatment here. A friend mentioned this cafe to me because they are open until late, but was warned that he felt the staff displayed xenophobic behavior due to many rude encounters he has had. Gave it a try and sure enough was met by a very abrasive staff. I asked my friend to order nachos for me, as I missed my s bahn and didn’t want him to wait outside until I arrived. He ordered himself a tea and ordered my boyfriend and I a tray of nachos. About half an hour into our stay I was asked if I could order something (in German) when asked if it could be repeated (in English) I was met with a glare and the question repeated rudely. I said my friend ordered nachos for my boyfriend and I and the tea was for him. About 20 minutes later, someone else comes up and asks me to order something or leave, as I was using the Wi-Fi and not consuming anything for a long time. At that point, I had been there for an hour, WASN’T using the Wi-Fi because it’s actually really bad, so I had to use my phone’s hotspot, and repeated that I had my friend order us nachos. I was still told I had to order something or leave. The nachos come to a total of around 6.8 euro ( I know because I paid my friend back for it) which I believe is plenty for 2 people to spend to sit somewhere for an hour- it would be almost the same as us ordering 2 teas or espressos, so I didn’t understand what the problem was. Apparently the staff didn’t feel this way. When I said we had the nachos the staff member rudely said “What from the last guy?” (Meaning my friend who stepped out to make a phone call, but left his backpack for us to watch) I was very taken aback, as this presumed we were sitting in their space and scavenged for the leftovers of the last guest. I responded no, his backpack is right here, he ordered us the nachos, and himself a tea. We were again asked to order something or leave. I felt very targeted and left the establishment very upset. The upstairs area was also completely empty, so it’s not like we were even taking up space that someone else could use. We were the only people there. Horrible treatment.

Nice atmosphere and nice place to sit on a sunny day.most seats are outside. Perfect during Corona period. Enough social distance. About 4 choices of cake.all are tasty. Many choices of drinks too, vegan options available. Slightly expensive.self service.
