this Airline was a pleasant surprise and I look forward to flying with them again as I can meet between Bangkok and Berlin.

check-in was efficient and once we got to the airport and Finland it was absolutely wonderful.

I also received an upgrade to business class and this was handled with efficiency.

definitely a pleasure to fly finnair business class it's a treat you end up landing at your destination relaxed and ready to engage in business.

I was expecting a higher level of service and quality. Unfortunately the impression here is more that of a low cost carrier. It's ok, but make sure not to pay too much for your ticket (for example, they charge extra for alcoholic drinks or small snacks during long distance flights). Food is mediocre (there is an option to pay more for higher quality food, which adds to the perception of a low cost carrier)

The airline is known for offering very short connections. Unfortunately we missed our connection flight within the EU because we had to go to security control again, which was a complete disaster. The line was incredibly long and the staff was so unorganized that it took us 40 minutes to get through security, followed by passport control - our transfer time window was 40 minutes overall (time between arrival and departure (not boarding!)).

When we finally arrived at our departure gate, the plane was still there but we've been cancelled from the flight already. The only good thing was, that the next flight to our destination was already within the next hour on which we were re-booked immediately, by a very friendly FINNAIR staff member.
But I wonder, why haven't they offered the later connection flight in the first place? They would have had 2 unhappy customers less ...

Lost my bag and was told it would be delivered that same night. Finally called back at 4AM and was told it would arrive the next day. No one was helpful. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire travel life. Never again.
