Plenty of aircraft to see, nice coverage all around the airport. It's a bit windy so wrap up warm, I'm sure it's amazing in the peak of summer. Will visit again, well worth the €3, staff got a bit confused with our E-ticket purchased from the website as the date was in American format not European but after explaining, they let us through.

Visited the deck in winter. Probably one of or the largest and open airport observation deck I’ve seen in the world. It has a pretty strict security check before entering the deck, that’s because the railings are quite low and there is a 360 degree view of the airport. The deck spans nearly the whole roof of the terminal. It gives you amazing views of both runways, the tarmac and the gates. You can see planes landing and taking off. However it was in January, so it was freezing cold, so it would be good to bring some gloves up and thick clothing if you’re gonna be there for a while. Note that it’s not free, 3€ per person for standard price. It also shuts early so make sure you visit it when it’s open.

A small airport with very friendly and kind staff.
There are no many options to eat. You will find a taxi right outside and the prices are fixed, so you will not be robbed.

Price is okay and it's always nice to watch planes. No food stores outside and no shade in hot summer.

This observation deck is awesome. You can see the entire airport. I really recommend going here.

Old and outdated airport, tinny international waiting area. Poor aircon. Good thing is location, 20min from Berlin city centre.

Very Nice terrace. But no toilets or vending machines present .
