My favorite place for walks in the neighborhood. Feels like a real forest in the very small area.
Very little of the lake is visible now and I have the feeling that it’s getting less every year.
Two things to complain about are:
1. Would be great to have more trash bins. Right now it only one for the whole park.
2. On one side of park quite peace often interrupted by loud football players on a stadium. I guess nothing to do with it.

Great area to around as a nature reserve. The forest is natural and unkept which is exactly what you want when you are walking around. The lake is only visible from one location however, you should consider this a walk in the woods rather than a walk around a lake. There is some traffic noise (unavoidable) but you almost forget you are in Berlin when you visit. Signage could be better looked after which is it's only downside.

One of the earliest protected nature areas in Berlin, this little forest is great for walking and jogging.

Beautiful natural preserve with many trails suitable for walking and bike riding around the lake. Very green springtime.

Great for a half an hour walk. It feels like wild nature.
You don't get to see too much water, mostly forest.
Dog friendly
If you stop at the playground there's a good forest playground there.

Easy to forget you're in the middle of Berlin. Smells of trees and mulch. Perfect for biking or jogging.
