Review updated:
Good: staff were flexible with breakfast and helped me move room to one with working LAN Internet.

Bad: no wifi!
Minibar fridge door is blocked by the cupboard door built in front of it and doesn’t open...

Great location (2 min walk from S Bahn station) and easy to commute both to the airport and center. Good value for money. What I found awkward was that the WC is not fully separated from the rest of the room so you can't enjoy full privacy while doing your business. There is a cute bakery 1 min away where you can listen to jazz enjoy good espresso and a variety of breakfast choices.

The design is good, interior looks nice. Location is convenient for getting around the city. However, there are several drawbacks.
1. The place is too noisy. You can hear S Bahn trains even with your windows closed.
2. Internet stops working every 5 minutes.
3. The toilet is pretty strange. It has only one door which serves either as a door for the shower or for the toilet but not both. Also toilet is separated from the room with glass.
4. The bed is covered with a tape for some reason.

Great value for money! Yes, rooms are very small and bathroom is only separated by a door that acts as both, shower door and bathroom door. But, the location is great - you can walk to the city center in 10 minutes and there is an S-Bahn right next to it. We heard the S-Bahn even with the windows closed, but some earplugs fixed that problem.
Everything was very clean and for the price I can most definitely recommend this hotel!

Very good service and massive value for money. The reception staff make or break an experience. Today evening I had the pleasure of running into the lady who manages the affairs in the evening. Even though I had already checked out, she agreed with a huge smile to allow me to stay in the lobby for close to 3 hrs with absolutely no fuss. She is the sort of personnel every establishment which thinks its customers are the most important needs to have on board.

The hotel rooms themselves are very clean and comfortable. At the price they charged me, I felt it actually was too good a bargain. Hands down the best three star hotel at a massively reasonable price that I have stayed I fairly very long time.

Very friendly night reception staff. Pretty cozy room, clean and spacious. Stayed on second floor, internet worked fine. Bathroom is divided by glass, optimizing light coming in room, but may be awkward if sharing the room. Elevator from separate entrance. Background noise from the train nearby, but convenient for transportation - just go through the playground.

*Location*
The hotel is in the West side of the city, ~5 minutes walking from the train station. From there you need ~30 to the city center by train. The train comes every 7 minutes. 1h from the airport by train u0026 there is a direct train (no. 9).
The area is very clean and safe with a lot of restaurant around. Most of the are open during the night so if you have late flight (as we did) don’t worry, you have a great Spanish restaurant right next to the hotel.
Closest late-night open grocery shop is Edeka ~13 minutes walk. They close at 23.00 but double check with google before.

*Duty hours*
Looks like there is someone at reception 24/7 since there was someone for check-in a 1 o’clock in the night time. ???? GG for that guys.
*Breakfast*
We didn’t try it but they have some menu around 10E/person. A bit to expensive. You can eat a very good meal at the restaurant around the corner for the same money. ????

*Rooms*
They are clean and tidy. The staff will clean your room every day after you leave. +1 point.
The bed is great for a couple.
Between the shower and the room there is a glass wall so our room is not the best for kids but I do think it might be a +1point for couples. ????

*Price u0026 payment*
Reservation was done in December. We’ve paid 166 for 3 nights on February 2019, for a couple, I would say it’s quit a good price.
The payment was done in full amount by bank transfer in January and we got the bill on e-mail, before arriving at the property.

Overall mark: 10/10
