Amazing craft and local beer selection at this conveniently located Spati in Kreuzberg. A small selection of hard liquor can be found here as well. Prices are more than reasonable, and it's open late. I make a habit of picking up a few beers here anytime I'm in Berlin.

Update: The owners reached out to me via FB so I've adjusted my review to 3 stars.

I specifically traveled to this store to check out there craft section after seeing some posts on instagram. I purchased two beers: an Old Foghorn from Anchor Brewing and a Cascade IPA from Leffe.

The first one will expire in one months time, while the second expired in December last year. This is 17 April 2017 (please see photos below)

While I should have checked the bottles more carefully before purchasing them, I do feel that if a store offers a premium product they should be more careful in turning over their stock.

No price on the beers, and you get to know they charge 4€ for a BRLO pils at the till. They don’t even have imported beers anymore to justify those ridiculous prices.

Great selection of craft beers, not too expensive. Owner is very nice and welcoming. There are banks just outside so you can enjoy your beer and some music right beside the shop. Must be totally awesome (and really crowded) in summer.
One drawback is lack of a toilet, but "Bagdad" kebab place is right around the corner and allows to use their toilet for 0.50 €.

Great place to just have a drink, listen to music, talk to people and having a great time as you can come and go as you want. It’s a Späti/late night shop where you can chill without looking like a homeless guy. It sometimes can smell like someone has some weed but nobody knows where it comes from... most comes from the street they say. I believed them, cause they were looking really serious.
