Location is excellent.
Staff very friendly.
Minor points, the underground trains go under the appartement and the sound is quite loud, you get used to it quickly, but you should be aware of this. We also as a personal preference would like to have an option to make Coffee by filter, only nespresso is available
However, for a stay in Berlin it is a great and modern place in a vivid part of town

Very good stay in Berlin for a long weekend. We stayed at Downtown apartments for four nights. The apartment was very clean upon arrival. We were a bit hesitant in the beginning because our apartment was located directly above the Castle which was very loud upon arrival. But inside the apartment we heard no noise coming from the bar. Only minor thing is the trams running straight below the building which are quite loud. Especially in the early morning.
The place was cleaned by room service during our stay which was nice.
The complex is directly opposite Nordbahnhof which is very convenient for acces to the city.
We would stay here again when we visit Berlin, but we would ask for an apartment a bit higher up in the building because of the noise of the tramline.

Excellent serviced apartments with great location and modern/slick design. The one I've stayed in, had a nice big balcony, super view towards a small park and a really good layout. Also, it was super clean and fully equipped with every kitchen/household items, which can only contribute for a comfy stay in Berlin. Staff is also very friendly and really helpful. Highly recommended!

I had the most wonderful stay at Downtown Apartments. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The bed was the best I have ever slept in!! The location is absolutely fantastic- all transport, great restaurants and bars, grocery stores, banks, etc- are all in the same area. All the staff were so friendly, and it made it a real pleasure to stay there. I will definetely come back. Thank you for a lovely time!

We had an amazing stay at Downtown apartments. Both the building and apartment were beautifully designed. Great location, public transportation is available right across the street - tram stations, subway station (S-Bahn) and even a taxi station 200 meters from the building.
The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped.
We had a wonderful time there, and we hope to come back soon.

Lovely place,very clean and very comfortable beds with high quality bed linens.There could have been more toiletries supplied and towels.For four nights stay we had two towels for each and never been changed. Not close to center so we use Uber a few times a day. We found 4 nespresso capsules for four of us for four nights,so the girl from reception gave us a few more. She was lovely and helped with all we needed.

Great home away from home.
I've been staying at downtown for 6 nights , with 2 small kids (4 and 2), the apartment is a great choose for a family with the kids, small but useful and fully equipped kitchen , a LCD TV with tons of channels in many languages in each room (we had two rooms) a balcony , and of course a bathroom. The floor is heated which is great for the kids.
Very clean , soft bed and pillows.
Great and fast WiFi which is not so common in hotels.
Very helpful English spoken staff , which is always willing to help (provided us the room at 11 am when the actual check in is at 3 pm).

The location of the property is just great , there is a S line and Tram stop in front of the hotel , and within 10 min top you are at Alexanderplatz.
There is a great Rewe supermarket 700m away from the hotel , very great variety of goods in good prices , and as already said , the kitchen is fully equipped so very easy to feed the kids.
Of course there are plenty of restaurants near by from any type , so you may find a place for your self as well.

Not so relevant to my visit , but there is no AC in the apartments , most of the apartments have south balcony with lot of sun , even during chilly end of September it was hot and warm , during the summer with no AC it might be a disaster...
