I wanted to like this place since it is just down the street from where I live, but was underwhelmed. There is a nice outdoor space, looks cool. Drinks were OK, and cheap for happy hour. The food was well presented, and looked nice. It was not bad food, but it was not typical Mexican food at all. The burrito tasted like curry, the flavors were all off... The nachos were the best part, but it is hard to get those wrong. Service was not so attentive. Probably won't go back.

I’ve been here a few times. The food is not great, unfortunately - neither the taste, nor the presentation. I’ve had chili con carne, which tasted like a canned, watered down tomato soup basically. I’ve also tried their Mexican and Tex-Mex specialties, including the chicken quesadilla. Everything is over-salted, and the spice blends aren’t what you would expect at a Mexican restaurant. I even tried a hot chocolate, which was a small spoon of tasteless cocoa powder diluted in warm water. On the positive side, this is a very nice place to sit outside and have a beer in the summertime, so just come here to have a drink with some friends, definitely not for the food. The service is quite nice and friendly.

Sigh, I usually don't like to complain about restaurants but I was expecting at least decent Mexican food.

Not tex-mex but this was like a German going to South Texas and emulating what they tasted there.

I understand that it's currently a pandemic going on, but i would also say their service isn't too great, it took about 15 mins from after when we order our drinks to receive them.

From there we ordered a margarita only to have it spilled on us. While we were waiting for our second drink order after the spilled margarita, that took 10 additional minutes with all the waiting staff avoiding us not even giving us paper towels to wipe the spill off our legs.

For the taste of the food. I would say it was okay, nothing special, and nothing exciting. If you want to understand, I would say it seems like the recipes are a dulled down version of Tex Mex.

No pictures today as the food was disappointing.
