This dog park is really nice.
I have visited there tons of times for my dog.
Some dogs can swim in the river in the Summer.

Pichelswerder on the Havel and Stossensee Spandau (near Pichelsberg and Olympiastadion) offers the best dog park that I've found in Berlin. It is a paradise for our loyal and faithful four legged friends. Immediately upon turning off the traffic congestion of Herrstraße, you are immersed in nature on a tiny cobblestone lane. The combination of trails, forests, beaches, dogs and people are superb. The sights, sounds and smells of nature abound. Whether it's feeling the fresh breezes, birds chirping or the sand between your toes, you know that time has slowed down. You've left the city behind for awhile. Here you will find plenty of spectacular views - from the upper trail vistas overlooking the Havel, the banks of Kladow on the opposite shoreline and southward toward Wannsee. Walking along the lower shore trails, there are boats everywhere. On the insel's eastern side is a protected inlet and marina with a varitable flotilla and all kinds of water sport crafts from small sailboats, to kayaks, to speed boats, to pleasure cruisers and Boston whalers. To visit such beautiful natural surroundings in the midst of a city is quite special. It is like taking a very relaxing mini-vacation. The best part is that dogs are allowed to run free and off leash. On the beach, you will find dogs cavorting about: chasing balls and sticks. Splashing in and out of the water. Meeting and socializing everywhere between dogs and people. There are food and beverage concessions with available restrooms. It is easily accessible by bicycle, car, boat and mass transit with ample parking and regularly scheduled bus service available. You and your dog will be happy you took the time escaping the urban grind to discover this peaceful oasis nearby.
