A very enjoyable traditional German meal. The restaurant has real character and a sense of history, the service is polite and efficient. The food was very filling and tasty, I particularly enjoyed the blood sausage ????

Authentic Berliner Schnauze!
I thoroughly recommend all tourists to come and experience a slice of the real Berlin at Diener Tattersall. No reservation needed, just ask for a table for two in your best German and enjoy the show.
We were looking around for somewhere to eat and happened upon this place and we are so glad we did. The waiter (owner?) asked us our names -- very friendly, great start -- then when we asked if there was a table for two available, he scoffed and started to tell us about how little chance we had while he walked away.
Would definitely come here again and would recommend others to try, too.
As for food, we went on to Seoul Garden and had an amazing dinner. Service there was super-friendly and the food was incredible.

Great old traditional German kneipe. Lively and cosy atmosphere. Love it!

Dishes are exceptionally simple and tasty, vibe is quiet and relaxed. It’s not a touristic place at all, you see just local people.

Meatballs were gorgeous.

Entering through the red curtain gets the impression of being learned about a secret of the town.
Full of frames and full of history, of people and personalities.
The atmosphere is relaxed without falling into sloppiness, the staff polite and fast, the varied clientele and charming.
Berlin food, well cooked and simple, not trite, at reasonable prices, low considering the mean and local stature.
The Roaring have never gone out of fashion!
