Great little campsite located a few min walk from the underground, and overground transportation. I liked the guy behind the desk. A lot of the other reviewers didnt. I found him friendly, and helpful. The office wasnt open when I left on my last day, so I couldn't get my $5 or $10 deposit back. If I had one complaint it would be that my bathroom key was hard to use. I think the lock is just worn down from use. It could use a replacement.

It’s a shame one cant choose no stars as this is what I would have given this camp. The man in reception was rude, belligerent and very small minded. He only opens for 2 hours a day despite what the website says. Its costs 5 euro for a key into the toilets and showers and then you need a 1 euro coin for the shower.. The first minute is taken up with the water getting hot which gives you 3 minutes out of the 4 you are given. You are only allowed to use the washing machine between 17 hrs and 19 hrs..there is one only….oh! And only 2 showers. You have to pay to empty the toilet, fill and empty with water. The website states there are security cameras around..yes there are but only to spy on you to make sure you have paid for the water, shower and empty the toilet. Also it's was very cold here and the only power available was for lights..no heating..fuse blew!! If you want a nice camp to stay out with nice people, good facilities this is not the place for you. The only good thing about this camp is the location. My advise..stay somewhere else. This man at reception does Berlin a great disservice.

The good, handy to transport to Berlin, good toilet and shower.
Beware, reception only manned 2 hours per day, charges for everything, 1 E for 4 min shower, 1 E to empty toilet, 5E to access bathroom, on top of usual charges. There is no customer service, just charges. Good location, nice ablutions, don’t believe pictures on website, they are generous. You cant even run a hairdryer on the power let alone a heater, blows the fuse. This camp is a rip off.

Can't really say much as we weren't able to stay. We are a long outfit (14m inc car) and all XL spaces were reserved except two - which we couldn't access due to our length and various campsite obstacles.

The staff member speaks English and was pretty decent.

Long outfits - book in advance!

As many people before have stated the arrogant little man in reception, when it finally opens, is an unfortunate introduction to this site. He adds every little thing on as an additional cost despite us emailing prior to our visit and being told a total cost of E92.00 for our four night stay. It turned out to be E164.00 and we still had to pay to use one of only two shared showers. There are potentially 90 odd pitches on site so if you average 3 people per pitch then that means two showers for 270 people. The pitches are very small in comparison to UK pitches - we had booked a XL as we intended to use our awning but only had enough room for our car and caravan so didn't use the awning. We had to ask two motorhome groups to move their breakfast tables when we left so that we could manoeuvre our van out, but still had to unhitch again as the corner was too tight. The electric was useless, barely having enough to operate the lights and water pump, anything else blew the breaker. There was some 16amp sockets but locked up and unfortunately you find out the electric is poor, when it's dark and reception is closed. On plus points, we expected the pitches to be tight and we knew we would be out pretty much all the time visiting the wonderful city of Berlin (after all you don't go to a capital city and sit at the side of your van all day!). The location of the site is good, around 10 minutes from Tegel U-Bahn station which is around 20 min from central Berlin. The rest of the people we met in Berlin were very pleasant so suspect the little man is a huge exception. We spent a fortnight touring Germany and every other site the welcome was great.

Very poor site you have to pay for everything first you have to pay €5 for a key for the toilets none refundable only 4 showers €1 euro for 4 mins, you pay to wash the pots, pay to fill your tank with water on the motorhome so go with a full tank if your staying for a few days!!! you only get 3 amp electric which is always tripping. We booked some dates on line and had to change but when we got there no booking received! managed to find a pitch supposed to stay for 6 nights but left after one!! ????????

Really rude and unhelpful member of staff. I would definitely not recommend this campsite to anybody. Please do not give them the money!!! We assumed we were able to pitch a tent due to the website and signage. However if this isn't the case, a polite explanation and some help would have been nice after our 50km bike ride. Rather than a sharp no, and a hand in our face. Thanks to the lovely campers who were much more helpful than the staff.
