The venue itself looks amazing both outside and inside. Even better is the view as it's located in the Britzer Garten park.

The menu is not so rich with choices but you'll find all the important stuff. Coffee, beer, sandwiches, Ice cream and BBQ.

The most important, you probably don't wanna come here for food, but snack and chill, as location is just amazing. Take a loom at the photos ????

After an exstensive stroll as a family in the Britzer Garten, we finally upon this nice looking cafe shaped like a massive exctic seashell. We entered and found seating right away and we welcomed fairly soon after because the waiters were cleaning up the sunday buffet. Now the main waiter seemed kind of down but was friendly and and very helpful to find out details of some request in the menu. The ambience was terriffic and our small orders came quickly and were delicious.

Loved the place by the lake. We went on a cold day, and it was the perfect place for a coffee and cakes. They also serve food but we didnt try those. The cakes were amazing and hot chocolate was also equally good. Perfect place to eat and relax in the Britzer Garden

Went for a Sunday Brunch. Took a wrong turn and entered through employee entrance by mistake. The waitress forced us to take "a proper entrance", wasted 20 minutes to arrive at the same spot. Sunday Brunch is not offered anymore, despite website sill advertising it. Due to lady above we are too late for a regular breakfast as well. Kids in tears, will never visit this place again.

Visiting on Mother's Day, we found ourselves here for a late lunch. After having found a decent seat, we waited for quite a while before we were helped. They had no English menus, so we had to make do with our limited German.

Our food took nearly an hour before it arrived, which was annoying when a few other tables that arrived after us received their food before us. The food was not too bad, but feels a bit subpar given we spent nearly €40 for just two main dishes and 2 beers.

Overall, the environment makes up for the lacking service. However, as a non-German speaker, I would not go again. There just really isn't a good reason to eat at a restaurant when you can enjoy a nice picnic in the park instead.

The food is very tasty but this is an extremely slow service restaurant. It took over an hour to get the food. The prices are high. The acojstics is very bad inside. And the waiters are very confused. In the end after waiting so long for the food, i would have expected them to offer some kind of compensation, but they didn't.
Anyway, the view is very nice and the food was tasty.

20 minutes till a waiter shows up and takes your order, then another 45 - 60 minutes until you get your beer or coffee and cake. The terrace and interior was only half full, however all guests were waiting and complaining, some people leaving without being served. The waiters snappy and unfriendly, i guess mainly because of the total chaos in their organization.

If you visit the lovely park, don't waste your time going there to wait and get angry. Just bring a blanket and your provisons like the majority does, find a nice spot on the grass and enjoy the day.
