Genuinely spectacular food - a real gem of a place. Waiters were attentive, polite and charming. There was a lovely group of Americans when I was there, all having a great time - the place has a really beautiful ambience. A real joy to eat at Bob u0026 Thoms - cannot recommend enough!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. I went here with my partner on our first vacation abroad in two years. From we came till we left, our experience was nothing short of amazing.

We were greeted by Oliver who showed us our seats. It is an intimate venue with few tables, but enough air and space that we had every moment for ourselves. From the moment we sat down we could instantly relax due to the atmosphere and energy in the room. We did a bottle of chardonnay with our tasting menu and it was a good fit for all dishes regardless of protein, proving that a good selection of wines on bottle can compensate for a wine menu. Oliver moves around the room with such ease and takes such good care of every person present.

Felix was in the kitchen and worked his magic, every dish so thought out and balanced while still holding some elements of surprise. Portion sizes, plating, aroma and flavour were all 10/10.
At the end of every tables’ meal he came and greeted the guests and it was so lovely to have a chat with the chef.

Oliver and Felix have created a lovely space where their passion really shows and is present in every detail. We are so glad we found this place and will for sure be back for our next visit to Berlin. Thank you so much for a lovely night!

Super good food in cool, light rooms with minimalist design. The 2 owners were the only staff (!) and still managed 4 tables with 5 courses each and plenty of free surprises before and after. They are in their 3rd year, obviously interrupted by pandemic closure. When all 7 tables are taken, they plan to work with a 3rd person as assistant. Food very creative, has absolute gourmet level! Wine list not quite at same high level, especially on reds. But for EUR30 cork fee, they are happy to accomodate whatever guests bring.

A must when in Berlin. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! Great service and fantastic food! The restaurant only caters to roughly 10-15 guests a night, and is run by 2 people (1 in the kitchen and 1 doing service). There are 3 different menus to choose from, or you can order individual items, but the set menus are great and change seasonally.

Super Service und super Essen! Auf jeden Fall ein oder mehrere Besuche Wert!

There is no wine pairing here - it's better to ask for a red u0026 white bottle recommendation and, if you can't make it, take the leftovers of both bottles home with you. So you have a nice memory right away.

Despite kitchen solos, Felix regularly makes it to the guests, gives additional information and collects feedback. One notices: Someone still has one or the other goal ahead of them.

The individual courses are very well coordinated with a combination that you probably wouldn't have come up with yourself - which is refreshing, but never forced to be creative.

You can tell Felix's attention to detail and you can only imagine how much more effort must have gone into it before the ingredients are presented in their final form on the plate.

And those who are vegetarian or vegan should not be put off: Even if it is not explicitly mentioned on the homepage, we will be happy to take it into account if you let us know 1-2 days in advance.

My conclusion: The food here is of a high standard and is cooked with a lot of passion - hopefully word won't get around so quickly that you can still get a table at short notice.

Wenn man ins Bob u0026 Thoms kommt, dann merkt man schnell, dass Oliver und Felix ein eingespieltes Duo sind. Oliver schafft es erstaunlich unaufgeregt und entspannt die verschiedenen Gänge zu servieren und dabei noch Weinempfehlungen oder eine Erläuterung zum Essen zu geben.

Ein Weinpairing gibt es hier nicht - fragt lieber nach einer Flaschenempfehlung Rot u0026 Weiß und nehmt, wenn ihr es nicht schafft, die Reste beider Flaschen mit nach Hause. So habt ihr direkt eine schöne Erinnerung.

Felix schafft es, trotz Küchensolos, regelmäßig auch zu den Gästen, gibt Zusatzinfos und holt sich Feedback ab. Man merkt: Hier hat jemand noch das ein oder andere Ziel vor sich.

Die einzelnen Gänge sind in sich sehr gut abgestimmt mit Kombination, auf die man so wahrscheinlich selbst nicht gekommen wäre - was erfrischend, aber nie gezwungen kreativ daherkommt.

Man merkt Felix Liebe zum Detail und kann nur erahnen, wie viel mehr Aufwand wohl dahinter stecken muss, bis die Zutaten in ihrer finalen Form auf dem Teller präsentiert werden.

Und wer Vegetarisch oder Vegan unterwegs ist, sollte sich nicht abschrecken lassen: Auch wenn auf der Homepage bisher nicht explizit erwähnt, wird gerne darauf Rücksicht genommen, wenn ihr 1-2 Tage im Vorfeld Bescheid gebt.

Mein Fazit: Hier wird auf hohem Niveau und mit viel Herzblut gekocht - hoffentlich spricht es sich nicht so schnell herum, dass man weiterhin kurzfristig einen Tisch bekommt.

Ich werde demnächst wieder hier sein.

Unser Lieblings-Restaurant, wenn wir auf Sterne-Niveau essen wollen. Wir genießen das persönliche Gespräch mit den Eigentümern in Service und Küche und fühlen uns in dem Gastraum mit max. 20 Gästen immer sehr wohl, auch durch die großzügige Tischanordnung. Tolles 5-Gänge-Menü (85€), das auch auf 4 Gänge reduziert werden kann. Alternative Gänge sind möglich. Perfekt abgestimmte Weinkarte, hier stimmt einfach alles. Wir kommen seit 4 Jahren und immer wieder gerne. Danke an Bob und Thoms, dass Ihr uns diesen Genuß ermöglicht.
