Welcome to 1980s West Germany. This place is a nostalgia trip once you enter. I visit here on and off due to location. The Berliner Kindl on tap is always fresh. The service is relatively snappy, often with a smile. Although if you get the wrong day it can be unnecessarily grumpy. The food is good pub grub but won’t win any awards from Michelin. Prices are fair. Pop in if you’re passing.

Dinner was very tasty. Portions in perfect size. Prices reasonable. 9-13 euro for dish. Personel nice. I was very hungry so I was happy that I didn't have to wait long time for dish - it was very quick. It's good place to feel old fashioned German style. But also the decoration of place was little bit funny. Plus is that they have nice beer garden.

Not to go: food cooked with oil that seems car’s oil, place full of wasps, the lady - I supposed the owner - that doesn’t want our sons play cards while waiting for foods. And last, but not least, it’s possible only to pay cash!

If you are looking for something to eat nearby that’s the right place! I got a shnitzel with veggies and it was very tasty. The service was efficient, fast, and friendly. Nobody seemed to mind me talking in English. The prices are very fair and the place is full of locals - definitely not your typical tourist restaurant in Berlin!

Food, service, atmosphere...all was great! I doo recommend! I eated home specialty. Eisbein. Great! Finally after Bayern some restoran where you get your belly fool! And taste...was wow...5 stars????

Food is good, beer choice is typical for Berlin but quality of service in my case was not so good.

Update 14-06-2020: a year passed, nothing has really changed, it seems no one here is interested in any service improvement...
