Light and airy cafe with a daily-changing basic lunch menu. Good policy for laptop working (stick to certain tables) and it has a student-meets-local-workers feel. Quality is good and prices reasonable. A tasty pitstop if you’re in the area, rather than a destination.

Good place to eat. Order at the desk, grab a drink in the fridge and wait for food is ready signal. Enough tables in two floors. Baked potato with smoked salmon I'd quite tasty.

Good coffee. The pastry was underwhelming though and there was no air con inside. In a very hot Berlin day, it was like an oven. However, I can imagine it can be quite nice during the winter times.

Reviewing as a (co)working cafe. It is a nice place, centrally located in Mitte.

My biggest complaint is the level and genre of music. They are playing it very loud and the genre was, at least when I was there, something like salsa(?). Very strange to have loud and this kind of music in a cafe where people are expected to come and work while drinking/eating something :D

Nice café and restaurant at the ground floor of the coworking space Betahaus. They have 1 or 2 main dishes, and a few breakfast and desserts options.

Good coffee and food! But they did ask that you don’t have your laptop out from 12-2. The wifi was nice!

The cafe is spacious and you can sit and work from anywhere except lunchtime (12-14 Uhr) with stable wifi. There aren't many outlets available, so come with charged laptop. The price is higher than most coffee shops as expected, and the quality of what they offer drink-wise is not impressive. I prefer the vibe of the old location in Prinzessinnenstraße. This new place doesn't have any personality.

The reason for the stars: the ammonia-like smell from the bathrooms in the basement was so strong I could smell it from the cafe. When I entered the bathroom, the smell was very intense - it smelled like ammonia solution was spilt all over the bathroom floor, and I had a headache and felt sick afterwards.
