I found it easy to get around at this historical station. Very convenient for my hotel which was just around the corner.

Signage is so poor! I work with trains in my country so I expect a high standard when I come to Germany! I need to get the RE7 train to the airport but there is absolutely no signage stating what platforms run the RE trains! Just the s lines! Useless!

Cancelled our train to the airport! RB14 was scheduled to arrive at 6h20. It never arrived and they announced the train was cancelled AFTER OUR ALTERNATIVE LEFT! We bought our tickets and arrived 15 minutes early. No warning was given that our train wouldn't arrive. We could have planned alternate transport. What jerks!

Good connection of long and short distance trains, buses and trams. Has various shops and eateries like McDonald, Burgerking, Döner, Currywurst etc. Another useful thing, it also has a supermarket named Edeka, which remains open even on Sundays.

Lots of works still ongoing with station busy when we were there. The newer /refurbished bits look good

It is a comfi station. You can ride the S or U trains and also the express from/to the airport (Schönefeld). Not all platforms have ticket machine, so pay attention. You also have there super market, fast food etc..
