Great pub. When u go there you just forget time. Go for an hour and come out four hours later. Disco to the right normally with good DJs. Good music mix. Mostly hits funk and soul. Downstairs Kicker tanles. Very smokey so you come out smelling like an ashtray. Great party pub and brilliant for singles.

The music is different every night, it is a bit trashy, but fun to have a little shake after some beer. Tab beer is considerably cheap and cost around 3 euros currently. If you go downstairs you have some chill area with table Fußball. The only downfall is that it is a smoking bar. No place without smoke. On Fridays and Saturdays it can be very crowded.

Always love to go back to this place! Has everything you need, a small dance floor mainly playing retro music then they have got a couple of kicker tables in the basement. Drinks are inexpensive and the atmosphere is quite cosy. Only thing i wish was different is the smoking inside the place. Everytime i come back i smell like an ashtray. But then, it's Berlin!

One star is even too high bearing in mind the treatment my friends and I experienced last weekend at August Fengler. Racism first hand from a male staff member. I emphasize MALE since he dragged all his anger towards me, the only female in the group and very kindly suggested to us to... "GO BACK TO SPAIN". I mean, I really like Spain (even though it is not the country I was born), but if my friends and I are old enough to be in a bar spending our money there, then we are old enough to make the decision of where we want to live and enjoy life. So mate, thank you for your advice, but no thank you! What this guy described as a "betriebsunfall" was what we saw, just his need for -kissing the girl in the wardrobe-. Mate, thank you for making us feel so welcome in Berlin and in your bar, I will make sure I tell all people all know of the lovely time we had at August Fengler! You will get some really nice free publicity. Also, let me congratulate you on your nice German accent, by the way, as an English speaking native I am sure you feel just like at home in Berlin. And finally, you might like to consider your attitude towards women and foreigners, your mama won't be proud! #Racism #violenceagainstwomen #speakup

Just the other night three friends and me we went to the bar and the bouncer being annoying stopped us. He let one of us in and said he wouldn't the rest of us... We did had girls with so there was no point being a creep or trying to make a mess. They both bald guys were racist. If there is any authority please do something for the ones who are tourist (** i am not i have been there twice but after today i don't think so**)

Very nice place for a drink. One of the oldest bars in Berlin. Laid back atmosphere, friendly people, it may get loud at some point though.

Smoker friendly bar. Good music with separate dance floor. Friendly bar staff too and it's easy to reach by public transportation.
