Lee is just one of the coolest guys I’ve ever met and someone like him who knows so much about coffee and is so passionate about it is the perfect host when it comes to coffee. His place Archetyp is super clean, stylish and tidy. And the coffee is always perfect and super delicious... thx Lee!!

Great coffee, and super helpful staff. I had a super nice conversation with one of the guys there, and he told me loads about their coffee and their beans, and it was super nice to see such passion! Highly recommend them!

Very attentive service, delicious cookies (vegan), and hands down some of the best coffee in Berlin! The owner is fantastic and he and their roaster both have an amazing knowledge of coffee. True dedication to quality. Archetyp is a force to be reckoned with in the Berlin coffee scene.

Highly recommend going, and not just because I work there. The coffee is delicious, the goodies taste better by the week, you can enjoy a morning croissant on the bench in the sun, have a quiet laptop session in the back and discover the owner's story and mission for the common good. My personal favourite is the cups made of coffee-grain which conveniently do not break either!

This place is a hidden gem! They prepare amazing coffee and serve some delicious pastries. The vegan banana bread (without nuts!) was to die for. We had a natural Burundi as a V60 and as a cortado, and both were prepared with precision.
The filter coffee was fruity and had a very nice and smooth finish. Even as it cooled, the flavors stayed bright. The cortado was the perfect balance of powerful espresso flavors and creamy (oat)milk.

To top it all off, the coffees were sevred in cups made of recycled coffee. In fact the entire place was sustainable in every way. The owners and staff are very freindly as well, which makes the vist even more enjoyable.

We will definitely stop in there again when we are back in Berlin, and if you're in town you should visit them too!
