The apartment does not look as nice as the ones on the website, but it is clean, well equipped, quiet and feels safe. The kitchen is basic, but more than adequate. The beds are quite comfy, and the linen is of a good standard. The two negative points are that the Internet connection is terrible - around 3Mb/s. In this day and age I wonder how they managed to find such a poor service, and the lack of water pressure in the shower. It's like a light drizzle rather than a monsoon. That said, the location is amazing. Everything is either a short walk or a couple of tube stops. Couldnt have asked for more. Would stay there again. No problem.

The bottom line: This place is absolutely "acceptable" lodging in an incredible location, but don't expect amenities.

The rooms are spread out in GDR (communist) era apartment buildings one or two blocks from Brandenburger Tor. The apartment we got was clean, the bathroom fixtures were even gleaming. The bathroom was definitely not "nice" by American standards (small, weird shower, cramped). The bedrooms were of good size, larger than I was expecting, but the beds were quite hard and springy. The apartment entrance area (lobby/elevator) is dingy/dirty. It's not 100% hotel managed (Berliners (yes, Reagan quote) live there too) so I can't complain too much there. The front desk staff is efficient and helpful, but they're really just there to check you in and out. Our apartment was around the block and in a different building than the check in place, so be prepared to lug suitcases further after you go to the desk.

Bottom line again: We paid about $260/night to house 6 people in 3 bedrooms one block away from arguably the most prestigious 5 star hotel in Berlin. It was clean enough and comfortable enough. If you like a luxury vacation, you'll be disappointed. If you have a family and are looking for value, this might be the best deal in Berlin!

The apartment itself was clean with a good layout and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the washing machine broke while we were there and it was clearly old and faulty before we got there. We had used the same machine before and knew what we were doing. But we got stuck with the huge bill just because it broke during our stay! This was very disappointing and upsetting.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE ROBBED !!! THIEF ALL AROUND !

We stayed here and rented 2 apartments. Ladies at reception were very rude and we did not feel welcome. They couldn’t even guide us to where our apartment were. They were just interested in our money asking for security deposits. We somehow found the apartment and got changed went downstairs for lunch and on our returned we had our money stolen !!! We rushed to reception and ladies were not surprised at all saying it happens here all the time we can’t do anything about it. We had to report it to Police.

Then when we were checking out we left our luggage at reception as he had few hours to fly , our mistake but on our return we found our items were missing.

Please avoid !!!!

This place is a travesty. Full of liars and swindlers. Do not stay here if you want a safe place to sleep. There are multiple thieves that live in the apartments and WILL attempt to break into your apartment. If you do stay here bring personal security cameras as this places security is a joke.

Excellent place to stay, very central and well located. Good service and price. The personnel is very friendly. The facilities are modern, well kept and clean. There is security. All good

We stayed at Behrenstrabe 1c. Staff is very rude and burglary happens to our apartment, while we are away, burglar steals our cash, its the internal staff have the keys to get access the apartment and we are doubting it is them only, who has planned this, as they are normal, when we report this and there expression is like this is normal here. Avoid this place and better stay somewhere else.
