Not being an alcohol consumer myself, I was pleased to see that I could still find something to eat and drink for myself when spending my time here with some friends.

I cannot speak for the taste of the alcoholic beverages, though as I'm told they tasted just fine. I can however speak my mind about the very fine apple strudel and general peaceful atmosphere of this place at night.

The waiting times not being too long makes it a reasonable choice for a quick dessert in my opinion.

Very basic German pub, potato salad was not the real one we like, späzle with cheese were actually fine.

Great place to people watch outdoor. Beer is good and reasonably priced for the location. Smoked pork was good too although had to ask twice before it came. Waitress was rude when handing the bill, she literally threw the bill on the table

I never thought I would ever enter such a German place, yet I did and had so much fun. It was really good energies. The live band was amazingly good. Prices are ok. Service was friendly. The other guests were having fun dancing and singing. The ladies rest rooms are down stairs, not amazingly clean, find it weird for guests to still have to pay for using the rest rooms. The band lead singer recommended the Iris Whiskey and it DELICIOUS!! Irish If you think my review was useful, kindly press the like button. Thx

A classic beersaloon in the middle of Berlin. It has a oldfashioned look, since its a very old institution in Berlin. My mother grew up in the neigbourhood in the 60s and it was already old back then. It could have stayed as a cultural institution but instead it has now turned into somekind of mix between a sportsbar and a touristtrap.
They used to have a great menu with different varieties and now its just a pamflict with about 20 dishes.
The food is ok, but you could expect more and especially more quality since the price isnt that cheap.
The varieties of beer lack some classic german brands and I dont see the point in serving english beer When the name itselfs states that it is a old berlin beersaloon.
This place used to be good, now its just dull. If you want something to eat and dont care about the whole experience, go ahead. If you want something that resembles Berlin, then go to some other place.
