A lovely atmospheric bar in Chausseestraße, opened in 1893 and was my favourite bar in Berlin when on holiday there, the staff speak good English, were friendly and great to talk to with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend visiting for a beer and the experience of sitting in an historic old Berlin bar.

A great bar in Berlin. Very friendly guys work here, English is spoken very well but to be fair they put up with my dodgy attempts at German as well. These guy's have a solid playlist going. A good Veltin's beer going. Smoking allowed inside as well. What's not to like ? Love it here !

This was not what we expected….moderate prices, stale and definitely hopefully not indicative of German cuisine…Aussie travelers couldn’t even finish the meal ????
Bar girl was very lovely though!

nice, cool kneipe. interior design really radiates an antique vibe. beer is really delicious, but a little expensive.

Nice place, has good outside terrace.
Fast service and very polite. Normal food, to small amount of beer options and no dark beer.

The bartenders are super rude. We asked a question about beers and they were like ughh this is self service. Then he charged us extra for service. Beeers are warm except weizen beer which is decent.
