Great place to get traditional german food and drinks. You can also refill your bottles of beer, nice building with some local history.

For those who like to taste beer and spend some time with friends the Brauhaus seems to be a good place. The building is a very large, with many sits. It is a very interesting historical place and one can get know it inside, as there are many photos prezented on walls there. Meals are served also - portions are traditionally huge, so take it into account when order :-). Consumption outside is also an option on good weather days, as there are tables under umbrellas at the front of the building.
Shortly writing the Brauhaus is a place worth to see.

2022:July - it was less people than before and the service was great and the food is delicious as usual. I went twice on Friday and on Sunday and i love it. Love the interior of the restaurant.

2022: May - still a great place to go to eat but the service was less this time. I have to wait for a hour to get some drinks. The food is great and I still go there.

2021:Great place to go with your familily, frends. Inside you can see a miniature Wuppertaler Schwebebahn (zweeftrein). The food is great, good price and good service. It's easy to park there.

Huge brewpub we came for the schweinshaxe and it was delicious. Good friendly service and flowing beer. Be sure to check out the inside super cool

Huge beer hall - you can see that it used to be a swimming pool. Note that the entrance is really off the Market, not on the street where it's address suggests (which is where Google directs you). 4 beers on tap, a helles, a dunkel, a rotes (like a Märtzen), and a wiezen. Also a pils available in a bottle. Service was friendly if not especially fast. Was definitely worth the walk from the Alter Markt Schwebebahn stop.
