The castle grounds and the structures are pretty. Nothing spectacular but i felt it was very pretty place to sit and relax in the midst of nature. The castle itself was closed and the cafe as well so nothing much can be explored inside. I would suggest to visit it with an eye on the opening times of you wish to see more. Nice add on place when you are around Wuppertal.

Beautiful place with sitting areas, green lawn... Unfortunately no open cafés at the moment I was there.

The place is very nice, the Schloss area is beautifully organized. There are some sculptures made by a local artist (I'm guessing that because there is a shop in one of the buildings). In summer it must be truly beautiful :) 4 stars only because it's a bit deserted on a Sunday in winter time. There is a restaurant there, but it is closed in winter time, which is a pity.

I was here for Weihnachtsmarkt. It was fabulous. There was an abundance of stands selling food, drink, and merchandise. Even more importantly, there was an abundance of friendly people. There was a small admission fee, but I can't remember exactly how much.

It is not the prettiest/nicest Schloss in the region, but it is worth a visit. Went for the Weihnachtsmarkt, a special Christmas Market without industrialized offerings, and that gives it his own character.
