Interesting cycle/walking path running along one side of the valley of the city of Wuppertal, stretching 22km in total. Very popular, som interesting tunnels, bars and cafes along the route.

A 22km former train track transformed into a bike-, skate-, walk-track. High quality of the asphalt, a lot of facilities and restaurants all along the way, many entrances to the track, available parking spots, and connected to the other tracks in Solingen and after Barmen. The part Rott-Oberbarmen offers some of the best city views from the bridges ^^

Really great walking path.
It's built on what once was a railway, so some old stations can be seen, together with tunnels and other historical sites, everything is related with little information boards (unfortunately in German only)
Basically flat and can be started and ended at many points throughout Wuppertal.
There's plenty of sightseeing that can be done, as well as many other activities, especially close to the late stations.

Ideal to bike and explore Wuppertahl from this angle. Summerbars on the former stations close to the centre make it even better. Keep it up Wupper
