The first experience eating German cuisine and the veal schnitzel was amazing. The beer was very good although I expected a larger glass. Desert selection was limited but very enticing. Staff was very helpful with translating/explaining the menu.
Highly recommend this friendly neighbourhood restaurant.

Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlicher als vor Corona, die Qualität der Gerichte ist aber unverändert hoch. Sowohl Vegetarisches als auch Fisch- und Fleischgerichte sind zu haben. Das Essen war wieder mal sehr ansprechend zubereitet und richtig lecker! Das Personal war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Hier kann man gut essen und sich wohlfühlen!

Don't expect to get full, the crowd is very manageable. As an example, the roast beef can serve for 25 euros. The side dishes (fried potatoes) were extremely few and the salad actually listed on the menu was simply not served.

A steak ordered (the only one on the menu) was bone hard and had to be returned.

We ate on the patio in front of the car park (for a handful of cars, the rest have to search and wheelchair users unfortunately have a really bad hand) and had our dog with us.
No water was brought to the dog (every restaurant we visited does) and a waitress very unfriendly pointed out to us that the dog (11 years old and very calm) was only allowed to lie "like this" and so on. Everyone felt how unwelcome we were with a dog. The man, probably the owner, didn't have the slightest smile for us (6 guests) when we were greeted and unfortunately didn't seem friendly, which is a shame!!!

Doesn't have to be, there are better and, above all, friendlier restaurants in the area.

Positiv, geschmacklich recht in Ordnung, wie man es in Restaurants in der preislichen Kategorie erwarten darf.

Leider hört es da schon auf.

Satt zu werden darf man nicht erwarten, die Menge ist sehr überschaubar. Als Beispiel darf der Rostbraten für 25 Euro herhalten. Die Beilagen (Bratkartoffeln) extrem wenig und der eigentlich auf der Speisekarte aufgeführte Salat wurde einfach nicht serviert.

Ein bestelltes Steak (das Einzige auf der Karte) war knochenhart und ging zurück.

Wir aßen auf der Terrasse vor dem Parkplatz (für eine Handvoll Autos, der Rest muss suchen und Rollstuhlfahrer haben leider ganz schlechte Karten) und hatten unseren Hund dabei.
Dem Hund wurde kein Wasser gebracht (macht jedes Restaurant welches wir besucht haben) und wir wurden von einer Kellnerin sehr unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass der Hund (11 Jahre alt und sehr ruhig) nur „so“ liegen darf und so weiter. Jeder spürte wie unwillkommen wir mit Hund waren. Der Mann, wahrscheinlich Inhaber, hatte bei der Begrüßung nicht das kleinste Lächeln für uns (6 Gäste) übrig und wirkte leider andere als freundlich, schade!!!

Muss nicht sein, da gibt es bessere und vor allem freundlichere Gaststätten im Umfeld.
