One of the 20c architectural highlights of Stuttgart - the town hall. It's hard to pin down the exact architectural style - partly art deco with some strangely brutalist elements.

Good afternoon, beloved Germany. I am a refugee from Ukraine. Came to you on 03/26/2022. Mom, me and the cat. Left without a home. In desperation. We didn't even hope for some kind of normal reception. But when I got to the station in Stuttgart, I was shocked. All volunteers helped, despite the fact that they have been working for a month. We passed a free coronavirus test. We sat for an hour in the waiting room, ate and drank, then we were taken to the exhibition center, which was converted into a refugee reception center. It is located outside the city. And then I was shocked for the second time. Now to tears. The organizers and everyone who participated in it: workers who put up cots, built walls, packed mattresses and towels, who washed floors, toilets, who put washing machines, who prepared meals for us, a lot of food, who printed out the numbers of "rooms", who put shower rooms, who cleaned the garbage three times at night, even when there was very little of it, who sorted the garbage that people did not sort themselves because of laziness, who stood at the distribution of clothes and hygiene. A BIG THANK YOU to all of you. I understand how tired you are, how hard it is for you to help all the time, but I have never seen someone in a bad mood. All of you are always helping. I thank you to the point of tears. Sorry for my compatriots who are impudent and do not appreciate anything. Everywhere there are such people. This does not mean that all of Ukraine is like that. Thank you thank you thank you. Beloved and dear Germany. Live and prosper every citizen of this country.
