Belissimo! Great quality food and wine. I had a hard time deciding what to eat, so the waiter made a reccomendation asking me what kind of ingredients i like. Very kind! Also portions were properly sized, for the kids as well. True Italian craftsmanship!

The restaurant is easy to find on a street corner across from the cog-rail team stop. They have a space seemingly for a beer garden in the summer.

The restaurant is a cozy location with a mix of booths and tables. White linen cloth and an extensive menu set you up for a fine evening. The prices are very reasonable.

The biggest complaint we had was the food. The lasagna was very salty, the penne alfonzo had been placed in the oven too long, and the pizza dough was not fully cooked.

The wait staff is helpful, speaking German, English, and Italian. But became more short/rude throughout the evening as the place became busier. We also had to wait a considerable amount of time for our appetizers and then the main course.

Overall, I wanted to rate this place higher, but the issues above make this difficult.

Average but a good choice for the area. It lacks in atmosphere and the tables are cramped. The food was good but I would be just as happy to order delivery instead of actually going to the restaurant. If they put a little more attention to detail into the service and presentation, it would be better. Recommendation to the restaurant: Dim the lights a little, it isn't a library. turn up the background music a little so you can't hear everything from the next table. Use a towel to polish your wineglasses. In fact, mine had a wine residue in it when it was set on our table. And one last thing, once you deliver the food to the table, come back once or twice and ask if everything is OK. We would have ordered more drinks and desert but if you ignore us, then you lose out and we won't come back. Understand?

this place is well worth the wait! we sat on line here like 30 minutes maybe? Saturday morning. got seated and ate some delicious breakfast before we headed to Alcatraz. Obviously the wait means people love to come here..... I mean if the food sucked it wouldn't have a wait all the time even in the rain :)

I never miss a chance to go here. Ask for the tagliatelle de tartufo nero, even if it's not on the menu, if you like truffles. Never had a dish here that was not delicious, and the service is very attentive.
