We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend with our dog. Live music in the lobby and friendly reception staff created a pleasant atmosphere. Despite the fact that it was very hot outside, the air conditioners worked everywhere in the hotel and it was very comfortable. The hotel room was brand new and spacious. Lovely rugs our pet liked a lot. The hotel is located next to the park, which is very convenient to walk the dog. So, the optimal and simple solution for visiting Stuttgart.

The breakfast is excellent. Staff all very attentive and friendly. Sadly on our visit the air conditioning was not working throughout our stay. No room cleaning available during our stay either . 2 free drinks by way of compensation does not quite cover it when you pay the amount this place charge. Great location right by the train station, but not much locally without getting a train.

Exceptionally disappointing for a theoretically high-rated hotel. Overcharged on conference fees for items which were not provided. One midday meal was cheese and tomato sandwiches. At the evening meal (100 people) the cook was unable to keep the buffet provided with food - creating a long queue of annoyed customers - and there was inadequate service personnel throughout. The restaurant was not always open. The cleaning personnel came to clean my room at 7am, on a Sunday. Good points: the breakfast buffet, and service, was considerably better and is practically the only thing worth recommending.

A second visit three weeks later and a massive improvement in food and service which upgrades my recommendation. Once again over 100 people in my group, but the food was served to our tables, there was little waiting and much better service. At thus level, despite the continuing building works, worth visiting.

Rooms are small for a 4-star superior Hotel. We had to change our booked room with an extra child bed due to an electricity problem and got a smaller room with no child bed and actually no space for an extra bed. However, the staff were very friendly.
The breakfast is superior though. In addition to lots of options for traditional breakfast that you get in any 4-star hotel, the smoked and pickled fish and shrimps deserve extra plus points.

221017 Edit for my second stay: STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL if you don't looking for bed and breakfast only !!!!!!! Worst internet in the world. Construction in the lobby. Actually worth seeing how reception is now.

221005: The staff is very rude. Not helpful.
The restaurant is closed without notice.
Bar is failed When you ask for an easy cocktail (cuba libre), barman says he is busy but he will try to prepare it. Breakfast was ok but you need to wait for scrambled eggs for 15 minutes if it is finished already. There is no coffee machine in the breakfast room. Waiters serve filter coffee only if they see you. Luckily I had a chance to drink filter coffee on the first day but the second day the waiter didn't ask me so I couldn't drink.
The reception is terrible. I shared company details for the invoice during my check in. While checking out, they issued an invoice on my personal address. I asked for corrections and it took 15 minutes. If you have a flight, you need to wait 15 mins and then you should take a taxi. They blocked 554 EUR during check in and also got the payment while checking out. So the provision of 554 EUR is still blocked in my card. I suggest the hotel replace all their staff in the bar restaurant and reception. Although the hotel itself is very good, the service is terrible. Housekeeping was the worst. They didn't leave towels for the second day. I used the bath towel. Today is 5 October. There is a coffee creamer in the room with the expiration date of 8 August.

- Pool temperature is quite good. Room size is ok. The location is great.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There are definitely much better hotels for a much lower price. The hotel is In very bad shape, but worst of all, the air conditioning does not work. I arrived to my first room and it felt like getting into the sauna (approx 34 celsius in the room) so they gave me a new room, which was colder but still uncomfortable to sleep in. Second day I was away the whole day, and when I come back in the night, my room was not done! Worst of all, they left a note saying they are sorry they couldn’t make my room, and offering me a 200ml drink for free????.
Other things: check in took long because the only person on duty was talking on the phone for 10mins.
Whirpool and Sauna currently out of service (didn’t say so in the website…)
Honestly nothing positive to say about the hotel.

Nice hotel, the people are very friendly.the rooms are clean and big. This is far form the city center, but with good public transportation connection (just 15minutes)
