One of the best pork knuckle I have eaten! The skin was super crispy, meat was also not over done, the size of the pork knuckle was also humongous, and I couldn't even finish it ! Loved the vibe too, especially the cute barrel seatings outside (even tho we didn't get to sit in one). highly recommend!????

Stop for lunch in a great big barrel. Yes, touristy thing to do.

Awesome beer (1l mug of coyrse), fantastic salad, and nicely cooked pork knuckle. Everything was fantastic except children's noodle (too bland). Just order regular meal.

Good and fast services.

Would definitely come back.

Every time we visit Stuttgart, we will definitely come here for their delicious pork knuckle and yummy meshed potatoes.

They located quite near to the MRT/LRT/Train station (Charlottenplatz and Rotebühlplatz Stadtmitte), and at the middle of shopping and culture destinations area. If you have time to relaxing slow walk, their nearby is worth your whole day time to explore.

As for this restaurant, we visit more than 3 times, and it never disappoint us with their great crispy and delicious pork knuckle. It was really big portion of meat, juicy inside, crispy outside.

Eating with their yummy meshed potatoes, rosti and fried onions. It surely satisfy you. Their German beer was quite a big cup if you order the large one.

Again. Next time when I'm at Stuttgart. You can find me there surely.

The place was a surprise for us since the restaurant is under a new building but once you are inside looks like that you are somewhere else in the mountains. Also the decoration is nice a lot of space. The food is german food but good, also if you are looking for it, it is your place. By the way they offer ribs all you can eat.

Ambience is good. Food too is very good. Service attitude is just OK. 3 of us were there for our 1st diner in Stuttgart and ended up there because of the raving reviews. We were small eaters honestly and do not want to waste food. We knew 2 beers, one salad and the pork knuckle is going to be huge and sufficient but we were told if we do not place order for another reasonable item, then we will be charged 1.5 times the bill as there are 3 people and we ordered only 2 dishes. So we did and ended up with so much left-overs on the table and felt so bad about it.

Don't get me wrong, this place is good and price is reasonably right but if you are small eaters and in small numbers awkward group, and require to order sufficient in order not be charged extra, then it will not be value for your money or you might end up with a lot of extra food. We are allowed to pack back but as tourists it was inconvenient to do so.

The restaurant is nicely decorated.

The food is nice with a large portion. The haxe could be shared by two people.

what an amazing experience! Everything was perfect, from tasty food to pleasant service. Food came fast even though the restaurant was packed. Would visit again.
