One of the most favorite places in Stuttgart.
Especially at late evening The gothic church is beautifully lit by night. Has a few locales around it . The architeture is beautiful .Nice place to stay in Feuersee, around the church it is nice to go for a walk, see lake and ducks or sit comfortably opposite to the stairs.

Nice place, love the peninsula part, but the water is dirty and stinky. Also the church needs to be repaired (roof, etc.)

On Sunday evenings there is not much to do in Stuttgart besides eat and drink, so we decided to simply explore the town. This church was a lovely place to visit at dawn. The architecture is beautiful and the setting is serene. It is located right off the metro stop which is convenient. Even though we couldn't go inside, we enjoyed walking around and admiring the outside.

Exquisite architecture on the church. A pond with turtles and fish in front
Old shady trees lining both sides of the walk way. Very serene and relaxing. Funky graffiti painted public restrooms near by.

Iconic church in the western area of Stuttgart city center. Until Second world war the church tower was pointed.

Amazing place in the center of the city. Stunning little lake with a beautiful church on the small island. Surrounded by the city buildings.

Beautiful historic church. We attended Christmas Evening service. The service was all in German and had wonderful music - Organ and flute. The inside had stone walls and the music sounds Devine. The tower bells rang for about 5 minutes as the hour approached and it was silent inside the church as we listened.
We heard some history about the building and only saw it at night - would love to go again.
