I took the intensive A1 here and really appreciated the quality of my two professors and the organization of the school in general. The pace was fast (as you’d expect with an intensive course) and all the students in my group were engaged and fun. I’m enrolled to take A2 there soon. Overall I highly recommend ifa!

Very good school to learn German. I really appreciated the quality of teachers and of the school in general. I have taken two courses currently, they helped me to learn and I fell now more confident with my German. Teachers are always helpful, you meet interesting people and have fun learning.

I have been extremely happy with IFA and the teachers. Carolin is the most friendly and patience teacher there as well as the most encouraging one. You will be very lucky to have her as a teacher. Frank is one of the coolest teachers that I have ever met. He can speak more than 5 languages and has lots of tips on how to learn German quickly. Peter is a very chill man and fun to be around. He really focuses on improving your German speaking.

I'm finishing the evening course A1.2 this week. Evening course is much tougher to handle than intensive course because people don't always come and almost don't practice at all after the class. Generally I feel the course is helpful. It goes really slowly but better than nothing.

The timing for evening course is flexible. One has the choice of Tue/Wed and Mon/Thu which suits for most people. There are 3 weeks break after each block, such a relief for working people. The tuition fee gets 40 Euro more in 2018, but still a good quality-price choice compared with other commercial language schools.

There is basically no service at all.... Things are all done via email and phone calls. But what matters most is teaching anyway. I'll stay with ifA for A2, B1 and so on.

Extremely unprofessional! I have written 4 times in order to receive via email my Certificate for A2.2 level as i’ve done the online intensive course..after a first promise to receive it in the day following my 1st request..i haven’t received it and still waiting after more than 1 month and other 3 reminder emails..please notice it in case you’ll need the certificate for a job interview..

Had a great experience with ifa Akademie. German classes (A1.2) had a good mix of vocabulary, grammar, reading, speaking - a good blend. Jörg was wonderful about encouraging participation and practice, making the class instructive but also enjoyable.

It is a great school in the middle of the city center. The teachers are very knowledgeable and know how to deal with foreigners who wish to learn German . As well the number of students in a course is not big as in other schools. Basically, I would definitely suggest IFA for german courses quality and price wise.
