Unlike so many hotels within the same category that pretend to be something they're not, the Hotel Zur Weinsteige provides a clean, comfortable experience with no frills, just as it should be. The rooms are small but very functional with plenty of storage space, outlets and lighting. The location is convenient, and the staff are pleasant and polite. Great value for money and I would definitely come back.

We had only dinner here. Polite staff, descent steak and wine. Nice vibe though small place.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Despite being right next to the trams (which is wonderful for connections throughout the city, but has the potential to be noisy), the rooms are very well insulated so almost no external noise can be heard. Bed was also very comfortable. Thank you!

A lovely hotel. Family owned for generations. Traditional, local. But modern also due to updates. Good beds ???? and exceptional awesome breakfast ????☕???? menu with a wide selection of good rolls, drinks, meats, cheese. Even smoked trout filets and real salmon slices ????. The service is amazing and friendly and helpful. Don't worry about being close to the street. It's not noisy due to noise protection windows.
And for sure the location is great. Walking distance to downtown and public transportation close by.

Close to the centre. We were there for the Christmas markets. I think eccentric might be a good word to describe this hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Possibly the smallest bar I've ever seen. You'll be in heaven if you like Coy fish! Would recommend.

The hotel is beginning to look a tad dated, but the rooms were very nice, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was in the hotel and good. The restaurant oddly was down the street. The hotel had very convenient parking, but very limited spots. We had a special request and it was carried out cheerfully by the staff.

It's a pretty mediocre hotel that is way overpriced. While the design is nice and traditional, the hotel is quite dated. I stayed in summer and the heat was unbearable. I've been to much cheaper hotels that have a/c. The bed is also of the box type which means a tall person like me couldn't stretch out. It's very expensive and all things considered I was very disappointed. Cheap Chains offer better facilities for a better price.
