Hotel Am Wilhelmsplatz

In the week that I stayed:

1- my room was cleaned once
2- there was no internet AT ALL
3- when I asked the staff about the internet, all I got back was that "yeah but I have internet". So staff was also not really helpful
4- the rooms were also small
5- the heating in the room was working, but the room was still cold

Honestly AirBnB would be much better. The only good thing that I could think off was that the locations is nice and the bed was comfy

I've stayed at the Hotel Am Wilhelmsplatz on a couple of different occasions.....in 2016 and in 2017. I have always requested u0026 gotten a 'single' room without any difficulty. I am returning to Stuttgart in 2019 and have already made a reservation at the Hotel Am Wilhelmsplatz. While the 'single' rooms are fairly basic in nature, that's just fine with me. I found the room to be clean---including the bathroom. The room has wifi (WLAN) included at no additional cost. The price was right, too---befitting a basic room. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful.

My friends and I were on a road trip and the ability to collect keys from a coded box outside the hotel and therefore not having a specific check in time was really useful for us. Just across the road from some great restaurants and bars but far enough away to avoid the noise. Also, it's cheap for the location!

Reception very nice and location is close to the attractions in the city. Room was very small and it is located near strip joints if you don't take a main road. Still felt safe. Good price for a budget traveler.

Rooms are cold, lights and noises easy go through the windows (buy some double windows!). The room smelled like cigaret eventhough it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The reception guy talks too much. Breakfast is also pretty bad. I had the worst sleep.

This is by far one of the worst hotels I've been staying at considering the price. It is basically a one-start hotel with a three-star pricing. Breakfast was horrible (code and almost no variety), room was dodgy and I have some Skin rash after sleeping there for a night. Probably the didn't wash the sheets properly. Avoid!
