Amazing spot! Great beer selection and a wide variety of dishes. I started with the vegetable soup and then tried the sampler for one to taste a little bit of everything. Chicken was fall-off-the-bone and the injera was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Ebony gave me my first ever taste of African/Eriterian food thanks to my colleague’s recommendation. First of all, I really loved the ambience which was little bit hipster and little bit cozy with a lot of artistic touches. Now coming to the food, I was really taken away by the homely taste of the food. The starter was great and the main dish was even better (also too much quantity). They even had samosa (we have the same in India too). Also, Injera, the main part of the dish is very similar to the indian food dosa. It’s like we share a bond with Africa through food. We are all the same.

Highly recommended, the food is sooo delicious, exactly our taste! The service is very attentive and fast, portion sizes are fairly big. We especially liked the animal sculptures on the wall - creative alternative and art! Definitely worth visiting a second time :)

An African Restaurant in the middle of West!? I won’t complain for one second.

The service was awesome, the food was great, and the experience was all around great. I could ask for nothing more.

Ok, I lived in Africa for almost 6 years. Maybe I need to remember that when I tell them that spicy is ok. Next time I will just have them turn up the heat a little…. Or as my buddy’s gf always says “pour some fire on it” ????

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Due to the early / late time of my visit the restaurant was almost empty. As for the food I went for the Platte Ebony priced at 17.90 EUR - it was delicious and staff was very friendly and attentive.

Living in Seattle where Ethiopian food is common, Ebony was the perfect place to satisfy my African food craving. Pictured below is the lamb kilwa which was delicious!

The servers were extremely friendly and as someone who doesn’t speak German, I appreciated the fact that they have an English menu.

If you’re looking to try something new, you can’t go wrong with Ebony!
