I have never visited the inside of this cafe, but I can attest to the outside. There is plenty of seating, nothing fancy, but comfortable and pleasant. I ordered a simple black tea so that isn't much to judge, but the people with me ordered more intricate coffee drinks (lattes and such) and were happy with them. Service was average, again nothing special but we encountered no cranky staff or slow service, so I found nothing to really complain about. The most notable thing about the cafe by far is the beautiful view of Schloßplatz from all of the outdoor tables; if you snag a chair facing that direction, you get to enjoy seeing the grand castle and its lush, green courtyard while you eat and drink. It's quite a sight if you come from a place where castles and palaces aren't a common occurrence. The actual food and drinks offered may not be anything different from your run of the mill cafe, but the location would make me choose this cafe over another one along Königstraße.
