Beautifully renovated, modern, family owned style hotel u0026 restaurant. I don't recognize any of the complaints in some of the other reviews. The rooms are clean and newly renovated (as of our visit in March 2020). They have a couple of family rooms with an additional bunk bed (plus a normal double bed) for 2 children. They have an excellent automatic booking machine in the car park if you arrive late at night where you select the room type, pay by card and it spits out a room key - considering how backward German hotels usually are regarding IT systems this is amazing! Friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet (with good coffee!). I'll be selecting them again when traveling north/south on the A7 Autobahn (Frankfurt - Hamburg) as it is ideally located ~2km from the Autobahn junction (and with a large truck stop with filling station only ~1km away).

Wonderful! Staff friendly and accommodating. Room was perfect for us and our 15 year old grandson. We were close to everything in this charming little town. Parking was excellent. Plenty of room. Can't say enough good things about this property.

Our hotel room was FILLED with dead bugs on the walls. The bathrooms were dirty and out of date, same with the beds. A nice exterior and hallway though. Check-out was fast. Breakfast had a minimal but great selection.

Free parking, enough space to park. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but still lovely. WiFi strenght is strong enough to watch video's. The view from the room is not special or anything. Breakfast is good and various choices.

We stayed here one night on our roadtrip. Our room (503) was clean and in good shape and the staff really friendly. The highlight for me was the breakfast offering cereals, hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, yoghurt, breads/rolls, a variety of cheeses, spreads, sausages, jams, honeys, and even prosecco. If you need a place to stay the night or need a bite to eat, I recommend this place.

breakfast buffet was very good; fresh food; cereals, marmalade, eggs, everything for a sweet or hearty start into your day.
unfortunately, the salmon was out, but normally they do serve it (FRESH). That is the reason for me to come again. :-)
