Ein tolles Museum mit viel Wissenswertem zum Thema Filz... Herstellung, Verarbeitung und Einsatzbereiche werden hier sehr anschaulich dargestellt. Viel Spaß hat meinen Kids der riesige Spielbereich in der ersten Etage gemacht, aber auch das Verarbeiten kleiner Filzreste zu Kugeln in der zweiten Etage fand großen Anklang.

Ich wusste gar nicht, daß Filz so vielseitig ist. Von der Wolle ausgehend bekommt man alle Verarbeitungsschritte erläutert. Man kann sogar selbst aus einer kleinen Menge gefärbter Wolle (gratis) selbst etwas Filzen. Der Eingangsbereich beherbergt einen Laden, in dem man allerhand Filzprodukte von Kunsthandwerk bis Kitsch kaufen kann ($$$).
Wirklich interessant sind die oberen Etagen. Hier gibt es zahlreiche Exponate zu besichtige. Auch lohnt sich ein Ausflug mit dem Lift auf den Turm. Schöne Rundumsicht über die Dächer von Soltau.
Ich habe den Besuch nicht bereut.
