Great restaurant near the French-German garden. High level of food and drinks.

We love the veal escalope with lukewarm potato salad, the onion roast and the veal liver.

Wonderful are also the appetizers and delicious bread.

After a fire, the operators are rebuilding the building of the restaurant. In the meantime, you can dine comfortably in a wooden house that was built for the time of the renovation. There is also a very nice outdoor terrace.

You should definitely reserve a table in advance.

Server knew the menu inside and out, seriously impressed. Excellent meal that tastes superb but isn't very expensive. No waiting around, a great new spot to try for dinner. Sis and I stopped by here throughout a shopping trip, lovely food and speedy service. The food here's often yummy, my sister and I can't get enough, will probably be coming back next week.

Too expensive, food was nothing special, hard to finde, to noisy the rooms, unfriendly waiters and bad service.

The Kracherl Hütte in the courtyard of Villa Weissmüller is also definitely worth a visit as a temporary solution during the renovation. Very cozy atmosphere and, as always, excellent food.

Die Umgestaltung des Hauses ist mehr als gelungen. Sehr modern und ansprechend.
Update vom 08/2021 nach Brand:
Auch die Kracherl Hütte auf dem Hof der Villa Weissmüller als Übergangslösung während der Renovierung ist absolut einen Besuch wert. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente und wie immer hervorragend gegessen.

We were able to overlook the relatively long waiting time, which is not a problem either, but unfortunately the service was not good at all and, in my opinion, not very friendly. I think that for a restaurant with these standards, the service should and must be much better. Therefore unfortunately only 2 stars, but we are sure that it will be even better.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 2 Personen für die Abendstunden. Das Essen selbst war sehr gut und von hoher Qualität. Allerdings und das hat unsere Stimmung deutlich eingetrübt, war der Service. Erst nach wiederholten Nachfragen wurde der Wein gebracht und die mehrmals bestellte Flasche Sprudel kam erst gar nicht. Es wurde auch nicht bei leeren Gläsern nachgefragt ob wir noch was wünschen, geschweige denn überhaupt mal nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. 2 Tische ,dessen Gäste anscheinend dem Servicepersonal bekannt war, wurden entsprechend bedient. Über die relativ lange Wartezeit konnten wir hinwegsehen, was auch kein Problem ist, aber der Service war leider überhaupt nicht gut und für mein Empfinden nicht sehr freundlich. Ich denke, für ein Restaurant mit diesen Ansprüchen sollte, bzw muss der Service viel besser werden. Daher leider nur 2 Sterne, aber wir sind uns sicher, dass das noch besser wird.
