Another stop on our way back from our road trip to Italy. This was a high quality large hotel. Staff on reception were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable with free bottles of water but no tea or coffee making facilities. The bed was comfy but the pillows were diabolical. Our room was at the back of the hotel and over looked a beautiful park-definitely worth a wander around.
As the weather was dreadful, we stayed at the hotel for our evening meal. This was a limited menu and the service was not great. We were told there was no English menu and the waiter took our meals to a different table. The couple explained that they had not ordered the meals but he placed my husband's meal in front of the man. Another waiter then told him the meals were ours and the plates were moved to our table. We did not feel this was acceptable.
Breakfast was good-lots of choice and plenty of food. However, again, the service was awful. Staff pushing passed guests instead of waiting for them to pass, not clearing tables and not replacing items which had run out.
There is underground parking at 9 Euros but there is parking opposite the hotel which is free.
