We visited the zoo on a week day and were able to find ample parking on the street. I can imagine parking would be more difficult on a weekend, or in the summer when kids are out of school. The zoo is a nice size, with a variety of animals. All of the animals seemed well cared for and their enclosures were clean. We really enjoyed watching the seals. A few of the enclosures were empty, this may have been due to the cooler weather. The zoo was easy to navigate with a stroller. Overall we really enjoyed the zoo.

A good zoo to visit if you are in the surroundings. There is not much parking place (we came on a bank holiday and everything was full). I have to say that the zoo is well distributed, you can walk for hours and you don't feel that you're in the middle of the city. The animals are well taken care of and it is a nice place to visit with your kids.

Pros:
- Good size for kids. ( around 3h is enough)
- Animals seemed well cared for and their enclosures were clean, besides the aquarium seals.
- Good playgrounds and area for picnic

Cons:
- A few of the enclosures were empty
- Small parking place
- Bring your water/drinks as not many available throughout.

The zoo was a great family outing.I went in the morning when they opened and the kids got to see every animal they wanted to see. The zoo is easy to navigate and stroller friendly. The kids also enjoy the playgrounds as well. Good family fun and picnic areas as well.

The zoo is very clean and well maintained. The animals seem to be in good health. Some of the areas were closed because of the COOVID situation, but this is more than understandable. We also liked the size of the zoo, it's a manageable size. If you have small children you will understand.
The only thing I would suggest to improve, is the plan you get at the entrance of the zoo, It needs to be updated.
Keep the good work guys. We will for sure come back to visit again.

Good zoo for a half day adventure. Plan for many hills. Variety of animals was good but definitely on the smaller side compared to other zoo locations. Bring your water/drinks as not many available throughout. There are three playgrounds on site. Overall our girls enjoyed Saarbrucken zoo.

They have an amazing variety of animals here and they all appear to be happy and healthy. The zoo is very well laid out so as to move traffic through and also give plenty of space for viewing the most popular exhibits. I'd highly recommend stopping by if your in Saarbrücken.
