Great local u0026 cozy place to just have breakfast/coffee or hangout with friends over beer.

This is a gem in Alt Saarbrücken! Many choices of food for everyone. And also try their Keller Beer!!

Quaint old pub with a long tradition. They serve seasonal meals and sport a nice selection of drinks. They also feature a huge outside area, where you can sit under centuries-old trees next to a baroque church in the best-conserved part of the old town center. All in all a good place for a nice beer in solitude, a date with your sweetheart or a round table with your friends or colleagues.

Both of us having stomach pain during the night and the day after- avoid eating here! It has a cozy outside terrace but my dish was uneatable (salad with beef stripes). I returned it almost untouched as the meat wasn’t chewable and the salad did not taste like anything. I complained and was still charged for the full salad. I got offered a free desert instead as a compensation - unfortunately the brownie was even worse than the salad :(

A lovely location for breakfast in the morning. It's located in a scenic and quiet square.
Very nice breakfasts (croissant and coffee , BIG baguette, lots of butter and honey and ???? marmalade). Also try the Marmorkuchen cake with a coffee.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good price also.

Love it. They had the Euro Cup and were just awesome with booking tables for that event. It's a beautiful place for a couple brewskies and good meal.

I have been here more than once, never let me down. Try the chilli con carne or any of the spaghetti's they have. The place has a nice vibe and friendly staff. In summer you can stay outside and enjoy the sun with a beer and food. The location is not in the city center, but close to it. With direct transport to it.

Awesome! Location is really nice with Ludwigskirche view. Good ambience and nice vibe! Food is delicious. Preis is fair, studentrabatt. Couscous + Mergues is my fave! Staffs are friendly. It is recommended if you are near Alt Saarbrücken.
