This is where I spent my first week in Germany.
Good location and environment.
Peaceful and beautiful.

They have whatever you may need as human beings.

Clean accommodation for relatively little money (39€ p.p. per night in a single room), friendly staff. Would not book again though and cannot recommend for adults. Room had a bunk bed so small, clearly designed for children and teens. You can barely move within the room. Mattress super thin and soft. Noisy, you can hear the traffic through the windows. Many children as it is mainly for families, so noise was expected. Woke up every morning at 6 due to noise and light as there were no proper curtains on the windows. Breakfast: simple and 100% vegan unfriendly as they serve only animal products - no vegan options except for jam and fruits. Not even plant milk. So bring your own stuff if you're vegan. Sadly no possibility to store food in a fridge so... vegans better book a hotel room ;-) phone signal very very bad, luckily Wi-Fi is free. Bathroom was tiny. In general I think the rooms and the entire building is very ugly, design and interior desperately outdated but that's Jugendherberge in Germany. So if you look for a pretty modern posh atmosphere, book a 4 star hotel ;-)
I highly recommend the staff to open windows more often and let fresh air in, as the floors and rooms are a little smelly most of the time...
All in all not comfortable stay. Only recommend if you can't afford a hotel room or if you have rather low standards.

The hostel is an old one but the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good but not many options for vegetarians during lunch or dinner. WiFi is good but only available in common area. The beer at the bar is also cheap and good. Many people gather in common area at night so it becomes a good place to socialize with others.

Nice accommodation for reasonable money.
The bunk-beds are small and narrow. Anyone over 1.90 mill have her/his problems. The walls are thin.
Meeting rooms are reasonable sized. The food is better the anticipated.
The stuff is nice, helpful and prepared.
Over all I would recommend for a few days.

Clean rooms, somewhat spacious. No mixed rooms. Ugly building on the outside, but it may not be their fault. Good bike storage room. Surprisingly good breakfast. Much value for the money.

Rooms are very small, like prison. If you put your luggage there is no space to move. I couldn't sleep well. Wifi is not free and expensive, phone signal is weak. I couldn't cancle my booking since I already paid on arrival, so I booked a hotel for the second day and I paid for both places.
However, the brekfast was good and I saw bigger rooms for families. Could be useful for families but check the room befor you pay.

Internet is a big problem there. My simcard has a very weak signal and even if u buy internet ate the reception it is only available in the groundfloor.
However, rooms are nice and veryyy veryyy clean. Breakfast is perfekt and it has a nice staff as well as a very good location.
