Traditional german food restaurant and taste is very good. Waiter is very friendly and speaks in English. So You can order in English.

They serve excellent traditional German food. It was great and the service was spot on perfect. Andrea the waiter is the „good soul“ of the restaurant. She was a delight to be around. A great experience.

Good traditional Nürnberg food! Tastes like at home! The restaurant itself is a sight too, since it is also very traditional and old school.

A very traditional German restaurant.
The food is very good. The staff is very traditional and friendly.
I would recommend to make reservations even on weekdays, it can get very crowded. You might have to share a table.
Only downside are the fried potatoes (Bratkartoffeln), they don't taste like much. This could be improved with some bacon, onion, salt and pepper (traditional German).

Wonderful authentic German food served by very nice staff.

I ordered a roast pork shoulder with mushy potatoes and a pint of local beer. These food matched each other perfectly. The grease of the pork shoulder was well-balanced by the broth and the side. Together with very delicious beer, it marked a very good start of Nuremberg journey.

Nice location, Nice restaurant, nice food! Schaffele is 13.9 euro, 1 or 2 euro expensive than other restaurant but i understand th location is better than others. Good to come here

The lovely lady managed to make space for us despite it being fully booked. Very much appreciated as the food was worth it
