First day in Nuremberg and found this cosy restaurant with good food and very professional and friendly staff. Dessert was nice too!

On the outside of the restaurant by the road (see 4th picture), the entrance reads “Krakauer Haus” – you’ll have to enter and the restaurant is on the right.

I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a reasonably quiet place, affordable with good service. Give the beers a try and ask for recommendations if you need.

We love coming here, the prices are reasonable and portion sizes are LARGE without the expense of quality. Staff are friendly and attentive, beer is cold and good. What more do you need? :-)

Loved the atmosphere and friendly service. The locals were friendly and approachable as well. English-friendly restaurant, gets busy in the evenings but the people are happy to share a table with you so you can sit for a meal. Beer is awesome and the food is DELICIOUS and you get a very decent serving of it! You have to try the schnitzel with mushroom sauce and the potato dumplings as a side.

This is nice and cozy, popular restaurant in nuremburg old court. Waiters have good sense of humor and there is nice beer of course. Make sure need to reservation for ourside seat.

A beautiful beer garden on top of Nuremberg castle walls! They offer anything that a proper restaurant in franconia should have - local beer and wine and a good obadzda to share ;) Would recommend to reserve a spot but otherwise with a little waiting time you sould always be able to get a seat! :)

This is a great spot to sit and have a few beers with friends. The food is also very good and seriously generous in its portion sizes! Really enjoy coming here. Best to book ahead or time. But if you just show up, prepare to arrive early or share a table.
