Interesting Indonesian Restaurant run by a Indonesian / Canadian couple that provide a home stake kitchen across the wide archipelagos kitchen. Food is very tasty and worth the wait. While traditionally Indonesian rijsttafel can be a little costly here the portion is really haute cuisine size for the price. Service is friendly and accomodating buy parking is difficult. Better to take the tram from downtown

Very nice taste! Good quality food! Very nice services but always portions are very small and prices are relatively high for these small portions. I would recommend it but I would either recommend the full menu tasting! Which is top thing! Or make sure you eat something before going there! ????

The food is prepared with care and authenticity. The food is so good because they have a small menu card with selected food and they focus on one region of Indonesia. So if you visit them sometime later, you can sample food from a different region of Indonesia. So instead of a generic menu, the menu focusses and brings to the customers culinary speciality from different regions of Indonesia. The food is tasty and the ambience is wonderful.

service:
this place was formerly an indian curry house which although had excellent food, it didnt survive. now under new owners it is a french man (serving) with his indonesian wife (cooking).

cuisine:
tasty food, with very interesting flavours, mine was a little too much palm sugar, but generally very nice. some vegetarian options are available. unfortunately when it is busy (weekends), it can take a long time to get served, and food was a little cold when it arrived

price:
prices are reasonable, in the $$-$$$ range

Absolutely amazing! The flavors explode in your mouth! And Jean Philippe is Canadian!! You must try this restaurant. Superb.

The restaurant have different each month. This time, we eat with the food from bali region. The food taste good, the minus point is that the price a little bit expensive.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here and as we are all fans of restaurants that are unique and authentic, we were beyond excited.

Unfortunately this place disappointed us to no end. We had to wait for our food for two hours and this is not an exaggeration. All the other diners had the same experience. This was so perplexing to us as the restaurant is quite small.

The servers were similarly inept. They did not have any idea what they were serving us. Truly ridiculous.
