A great pub off of the main street with cold beer and delicious food. The one staff member took some time to chat with us fellow English speakers after dinner :).

Great little pub with jukebox and pooltable. The food is tasty and the burgers and chips are very convincing. They have whisky tastings and other events, which are nice.
the toilets need renovation. But otherwise great!

Very authentic. Live music, guinnes, playing cards. what more for a weekday evening out :-)

On our way back home we decided to stop by at O'Tools. Many English speaking friends of mine described the pub as very authentic and nice, so we were curious. Unfortunately, we had anything else but this experience.

After dinner, i decided to skip the drink, but keep company to my friend. Beside the fact that there was an unidentifiable piece of something swimming in the beer of my friend, I was informed in a rather unfriendly manner, that there was no way I could have no drink there. Feeling awkward, we decided to depart and not bother the owners of the anyways empty pub. I don't think we will return. A shame.

Great pub, awesome couple running it.
The food is fantastic and has a great drink selection.
You can never be bored with pool, table soccer, darts and loads of games to play there.
I will be back.

We found this place after having a bad experience trying to have a drink down the street at Lederer Kulturbrauerei. From the outside, Lederer Kulturbrauerei looks more impressive, but this is entirely deceptive. Whereas the staff at Lederer kulturbrauerei were rude and turned us away when we asked to have a beer there (considerably before the dinner rush, when it was almost completely empty), the entire experience at the Irish pub was fantastic.

Inside, the pub was cozy and had entirely locals inside rather than tourists. The owner, an Irish expatriate, was immediately extremely friendly and struck up a conversation with us, offered us suggestions of which beers to try, and even directed us to a cool Christmas market in an old castle in a nearby town (Zirndorf). It was the complete opposite of the rude experience we had at Lederer Kulturbrauerei, and was the perfect way to relax with a beer after visiting the nearby Nürnberg courthouse exhibit.
