I stayed here for two nights for a friend’s wedding. I booked my room months ago and no one mentioned the 25€ per night fee for my dog that weighs 2.5 kg and didn’t even get a doggy bowl and wasn’t allowed to join me and the wedding guests for breakfast in the breakfast room. 50€ for a tiny dog that doesn’t even bark is really steep and unacceptable. The wedding reception was at the hotel and the room was gorgeous, but we didn’t get our dinner until almost 11pm because whatever problems were happening. They came around and asked my table about 5 times if anyone was vegetarian (I ordered my meal months ago like I said) and I said every time that I was vegetarian and they still brought me a steak twice before finally putting a vegetarian meal in front of me. During all the delays with the food the waiters were always missing so we had to fend for ourselves in making sure we had something to drink. Especially making sure we had water after such a long day in the sun and given how warm it was in the ball room. The hotel room was clean, comfy bed, air conditioned, and nice. It was also a bit aged. I hope everyone had fun at the wedding reception despite the food and service being so messed up. It was nice and felt right for the price up until they squeezed in that weird 50€ charge for me tiny dog. The breakfast was also pretty good, but the coffee terrible and no dairy-free milk options. Thanks!

The experience was good. The room had working air-conditioning, it was clean, but the bathroom needed to be upgraded (I was expecting a bit more from a hotel at this price range)

Pros: the breakfast was diverse with plenty of food to chose from, the gym was useful (I used it 2 days in a row), the position is very good just outside the Central Railway station and close to the city center, the reception staff is friendly.

Cons: the coffee machine from the breakfast area needs to be upgraded from my point of view (it doesn't cope with the high number of guests in the morning), the cleaning and towels change is done every 2 days (I would appreciate new towels every day).

Beautiful Hotel next to the central station and close to the historical downtown. The hotel itself is very old and with a long history, but beside the historical feeling you have all the modern technical things you need. Starts with a big TV in the room, USB charger inside the digital alarm clock etc...
The staff is very polite and friendly and always try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Big secret and absolutely worth visiting is the hotel bar. A wonderful ambience and a good sorted menu of different wines, liquor, gins, drinks etc.

Bonvoy Platinum here. Exceptional hotel — in fact, it may be one of my favorites among the Marriott / Le Méridien collection.

Beautiful, historic hotel with modern touches where it makes sense. The staff here is lovely and impeccable, especially the two female night clerks that were so patient and helpful with me during a credit card fiasco.

Breakfast buffet is not to be missed, and the really enjoyed the gym u0026 fitness center.

Will always return every time I’m back in Nürnberg. ????

If you like George Friedman like me you will know that according to his views the grand European powers of Europe in 2050 are going to be Poland and Turkey (yes I know they changed the name, I can't get over it), whereas Germany and France are classic dissolving middle powers. I support his views. If you don't this probably means you never thought about the topic. Traveling in Germany these days allows for a glimpse of what is coming. Canceled trains, badly run airports and delays everywhere. The "Le Méridien" in Nuremberg is going to delay the decay of Germany. For a few minutes. Classic Grand Hotel at the estuary of the old town of Nuremberg, marble halls and bathrooms and the like. Friendly staff, good bar, competent barkeeper's. The rooms are on the small side and due for a slight retouch. There is no proper place to have a coffee or drink like a lobby bar or the like. one of the main features of a Grand Hotel is a nice lobby area, this here has none which is bit of a let-downer Overall ok value but needs maintenance and some attention to detail.

Breakfast is nice and plentiful. Ask for a room on the atrium and with a towel warmer. You need to be a gymnast to get into the shower so ask for a special room if you have mobility issues. Staf was great!

Very nice property in excellent location across from the main train station and at the edge of the main shopping district.
Welcoming staff and a hearty breakfast. Have been quite lucky to get upgrades based on my Bonvoy status. A room facing the street is definitely recommended over the courtyard.
