I was surprised at how well maintained this whole cemetery is. And not just the historical section. They have maps and pointers everywhere, but it still took us quite a while to find Dürer's understated grave.

This is an old, yet picturesque cemetery. We came here looking for Dürer's grave, which was not easy to find. It is an unassuming grave, not different than many others.

Historical place with several graves of former famous Nurrnberg artists. Location of the famous graves is shown on the map at North entrance (from Johannis street).

Maintained and strictly regulated to preserve the outlook of the cemetery. Only genuine flowers and no plastic decoration allowed

Extremely unique place. Can’t say enough good things about it. I wish I had more time to really visit this area properly.
