Gelbes Haus is a place with a character, and having a cocktail there has to be an occasion. I wouldn't call it the "run in a bar and have a drink before a party" place, as it is really about enjoying good quality drinks. The prices are a bit up there 9-12 Euros per a cocktail, however the choice is really incredible. Didn't see food on the menu, but could be because we arrived quite late in the evening. The atmosphere is a but vintage and old-school. The drink I took was exceptional in every aspect.

Went here with a group of international people. The owner of this bar were intentionally against speaking English with the guests and showed an atmosphere of disrespect which I’ve never experienced anywhere in Nuremberg. The drinks were actually good, but we couldn’t enjoy them too long as we got threw out of the bar cause some of our people ordered a Radler as a starter and apparently it raised concerns towards the bar owner to order something below the 12€ minimum fee. The bar called it “the guests are not fulfilling their contract”.

I’ve also never experienced in a bar the behavior of just asking 4 of 7 people what they want to drink and ignore the rest of it.
If you do not want to have international people in your bar, just mention it the next time at the entrance.

Will never go there again.

One of my favourite cocktail bars in Nürnberg. After the move to this new location I like it even more. ????

The indoor bar is light and has lots of space and seats. The huge glass cupboards display their full range of spirits, whiskeys and other delicious ingredients. The outdoor sitting area is nice and cosy with some flowers. The nearby street is not too busy.

The cocktails are awesome! Take some time to go through the menu because it is huge. Ask for additional special menus containing only specific licours.
Definitely worth a visit ????

Went in for a late night ???? cocktail ????.
Been before, and definitely a place to go back to. Wonderful experience as always.

My favorite bar for more than 20 years. Simply the best and relaxed place for cocktails and whiskys. Nice guests, friendly service and very cool atmosphere.
