Brilliant. Really atmospheric. Was full when we got there, but they gave us a seat near the bar and within 10 minutes we we were seated. Pork with dumplings recommended- crackling was really good.

Nice simple and little restaurant in the old town. Serves local dishes. You won't leave hungry...

Turned up early on a Friday evening, without a booking. We were made welcome, and given what we thought was the best table in the house, providing we vacated it by eight. The staff could not have been more friendly and the food was the best we had during our trip. Would recommend without hesitation.

While the exterior makes it look warm and cozy and the first impression when coming through is similar, the restaurant/bar is a tourist spot. Service is not very good because it was difficult to communicate as probably more than 1/2 of the employees spoke no German or English. In addition, the elderly host was not overly warm in answering questions etc. While the beer was alright (not too much can go wrong here!), the food was really nothing special. Would not come again.
